Chemistry Education Programs

Bachelor’s degree in Science Teaching and Postgraduate program (Mabatim)

The Faculty of Education in Science and Technology trains students to teach technological and scientific subjects in secondary schools, and grants its graduates the degree of Bachelor of Science in teaching mathematics / physics / chemistry / biology / computer science / electricity-electronics / mechanical technology. The degree includes a teaching certificate in a specialized field for grade 7–12 and for technical and practical engineering colleges.

Graduate Studies

As part of graduate studies at the Faculty of Education in Science and Technology, students study towards the degrees of “Master of Science in Technology and Science Teaching”, “Master of Science”, “Master of Science in Technology and Science Teaching” (without a thesis) and “Doctor of Philosophy”.

The Chemistry Education Department at the Faculty of Education in Science & Technology offers undergraduate as well as graduate programs.
